This is the third culture kid parent tax nobody tells you about: juggling two calendars that never quite line up, then scrambling to feed and entertain a kid on a “holiday” while you’re still on back-to-back calls.

I put every Colombian festivo and US holiday in one place, Aug 2026 through June 2027, Calendario B, day of the week included so at least the surprise part is gone. The scramble might still happen. But you’ll see it coming.

💡Bonus history nugget: Antioquia’s first leader was literally titled “Dictador” in 1813, but to be clear he was elected by the legislature, not a strongman who seized power.
